Why do we drool over the rest of the afternoon?
(Question submitted by Julie )
is, as for many unconscious behaviors, a simple matter of survival.
The nap of the afternoon is that we tend to take a little anywhere. In his garden, on the beach or in the forest when we went camping.
However, not being confined in a closed environment that is safe and our room, we become vulnerable. During the afternoon nap, we become easy prey; thank you to bear in the woods, horseshoe crabs on the beach or (the) next (e) in the garden.
Fortunately, there is the drool! This
drool dripping from our mouths wide open and form rings on our sweater has a single goal: to make us say ... a little less appetizing. And being less appetizing, enemies are encouraged to look elsewhere.
As Victor Hugo said: "Humans are really no worse machine.
